Our final Toronto World Mastercard Fashion Week review for the season. Who better to close our show reviews with than the King of Toronto Fashion Week, David Dixon. He continues to produce fantastic collections that are timeless and figure flattering. His popular designs are sold across Canada and throughout the US, Europe and Asia. This year Dixon's show started with a clip from Hitchcock's "The Birds" and as the show began, we saw many references to the classic horror film. The common themes running through his collection this year were houndstooth, feathers and texture. David is all about the details: from the feathered accessories perfectly placed as rings, brooches and bracelets, to the satin elbow gloves, to the houndstooth accents on the pumps! Sequins, feathers and even polka dots appeared and made reference to "The Birds". It was an inspiring and crowd pleasing collection that produced a standing ovation!
