I thought I would create a guy's look just for fun ;) The guys in Vancouver definitely have a very casual and laid back style. Unfortunately, it is often taken to the extreme and they end up looking plain terrible. I was having a discussion at dinner the other night with some friends and we were trying to figure out why it seems to be so difficult. One of my friends stated that all it takes is a few key pieces. A few nice shirts, some jeans and a nice pair of shoes. I couldn't agree with her more. Come on you guys! Get with the program! Do the guys in your lives seem to have this problem or is this a universal problem?

You can even wear a fun t-shirt underneath this blazer. You can also pair it with a scarf for those cool autumn days.

Basic black long sleeved t-shirt goes with anything. Just don't put it in the dryer boys!

I really prefer darker jeans. They look a bit cleaner and they actually fit!

You could wear these shoes with anything and everything. Good for both dressy and casual wear.
I guess there are a lot of black pieces in this post but they are all great basic staples!

Those are amazing suits and coats!
To be fair, the Vancouver men who can't dress themselves are often attached to Vancouver women who dress head-to-toe in Lulu Lemon.
haha Miss Orfamy! I couldn't agree with you more :)
The suits do look like on those dudes, but personally, I like when guys just dress casually in jeans and tees.... obvs not for special occasions and such, but if my guy were to wear a suit/scarf/peacoat/dress shoes on a daily basis, I would probably be making fun of him alot haha... but thats just my opinion! For the record, I do not own one piece of lulu lemon! haha ;)
hahaa Kelsey you're hilarious! Well ok jeans and ts are ok..but not if the crotch is at their knees! lolol
I think I'm lucky in that I just know a lot of gents who dress well. One guy I know recently emailed me a picture of the black John Fluevog motorcycle boots he wants to get--such droolworthy shoes. But then again, he is in fashion school so maybe his aesthetic sense is better developed than that of the average Vancity guy.
Right now I'm so much into men's clothes.Everytime I enter H&M I take a look to the men's wear
i would kill for those balenciaga looks !!! if u can buy them for me then feel free !!
Love a man with a blazer and scarf. Not sure about those Balenciaga suits though... And definitely wasn't keen on the womenswear. I think Balmain, Karl Lagerfeld or Galliano are more my style...
Of course I really love to be a girl, but it's weird I have been finding menswear so inspiring these days. Makes me want to dress up my (poor, unwilling) husband, lol. Those first suits are so fabulous.
most of the guys i know have problems with this.
but there are the select few who are very skilled at dressing themselves.
