This week's episode was quite the drama fest! It was supposed to be the challenge that decided which three designers would show at Bryant Park. Instead, all four designers advanced and will present their potential Bryant Park Collections next episode. One designer will be eliminated and three will present at Bryant Park.
Tim took the designers on a trip to the New York Botanical Gardens where designers were required to find inspiration for an evening gown. The designers were given one hour to take pictures of their floral inspirations. They had a budget of $250 and two days to complete this challenge. The guest judge for this challenge was Marchesa designer Georgina Chapman.
The gowns that went down the runway were quite stunning, but unfinished. I was surprised that the judges decided to keep Kenley after her outrageous display of arrogance and drama. It was especially entertaining when the designers were asked who should go home and they all said Kenley! She just can't figure out why the other designers don't like her and don't want to help her. When she discovered that she had forgotten her tulle at Mood, the designers were unwilling to lend her theirs! The drama is building and more excitement is sure to come. Is anyone else as frustrated with Kenley?
LeanneBeautiful details and bodice but the bottom part of the dress looks unfinished. The judges didn't like the big splash of blue fabric at the back either. Leanne most definitely deserves to show at Bryant Park.
KortoThe judges said this looked like a beauty pageant dress. I felt that it was elegant and fit her beautifully.
KenleyWhat is this? It is made out of a snakeskin print. I like the cut of the top part of the dress but the bottom is just plain odd. The judges said it was cliche. When will it be Kenley's turn?
JerellHe won the challenge. When I saw the dress go down the runway, I thought it was magnificent. When I look at it now, it just looks kind of mediocre :( All of the gowns just seemed kind of mediocre. No one can compare to Christian.

Kenley - I can't stand her voice. She has this horrible tone to her voice, it just grates my nerves every time she opens her mouth. I could see her being a very nasty person to work for if she made it big. Her attitude sucks! Plus she keeps singing that hard-knocks story and I for one ain't buying it!

it was too much to look at at once. the thing about major city 'vintage' stores it that they are so highly priced for things that you could find at value village if you looked hard enough.
i agree that kenley is really irritating and that she has the maturity of a fourteen year old, but you can't really deny she's come up with some nice pieces. she's not HORRIBLE. that scaly thing... yeah. it's pretty ugly.
but i did think it should have been jerrel, leanne and korto. and my favorite person is leanne.
kenley's dress gave me nightmares!! that a big fish was coming after m!
haha I think they are just keeping her on because we all will tune in to see her meltdown!
was such a good episode! though kenleys attitude is no where as cute as her style
