Here are a few images from my last few days of vacation. What a glorious one it was. Just took some time to explore local sites. I took the Kibi Plain bicycle route from Bizen Ichinomiya to Soja (see images of temples below). It was about a twelve kilometer trek and well worth it. I managed to get to the Ohara Museum of Art as well. It is the second best museum in Japan for Western Art. It set in a building designed to look like a Greek Temple. How fantastic...right here in Kurashiki (Okayama)! I also discovered the magnificent library and can't wait to show you a few images. They even have people magazine! All is well in Okayama :)
In my minnetonkas Moccassins are hugely popular here.
A new vintage shop I discovered.
Temple on the cycle route.
Backpack, puffy jacket, boots, shorts and tights. One of the most popular Japanese outfits.
Ohara Museum of Art.
They had a beautiful collection of Rodins at the Museum.
