Before I get into any critique about Project Runway today I have to say that I cannot believe they kept Kenley on the show. Someone who disrespects her superiors and can't take constructive criticism does not deserve to be on the show. Tim Gunn's blog on bravotv received 337 comments this week! I think a lot of people were disappointed to see Suede leave and Kenley stay. Thoughts anyone?
This week's episode was definitely more entertaining than last week's! I am really looking forward to next week's episode. It looks like there is going to be lots of tears and perhaps a meltdown??! The designers had to design looks for each other based on musical genres. They were given one hour for planning and sketching, a budget of $150 and one day for this challenge. LL Cool J was a guest judge and I think he didn't look overly impressed with the results of this challenge.
LeanneThis supposed hip hop outfit was designed for Leanne by Kenley. EEK! This is not hip hop. Neither the pants nor the jeans seemed to fit right. Kenley proceeded to argue with everyone who attempted to give her suggestions and insisted that THIS was hip hop!
Suede
This punk themed outfit was designed by Korto for Suede. Korto won this challenge. Congratulations to Korto! The jeans and sneakers are treated with bleach. Suede totally rocked the runway!
Korto
This country themed look was designed by Leanne for Korto. While it looks elegant, the judges said that she didn't take it far enough. I don't particularly like the gold belt. The skirt did look amazing on the runway and I think Korto really got into the role.
This pop themed look was designed for Kenley by Jerell. It's Kenley Spears! I still can't believe they kept her in the competition after this challenge! Jerell really transformed Kenley into a pop star for this challenge. He was a close second.
This rock themed look was designed by Suede for Jerell. The judges said that this looked like normal every day Jerell :( Suede lost this challenge and I was really sorry to see him go. He had really grown on me.(Images via Bravotv)

Korto really deserved her win. I liked those pants a lot.
Suede annoys me sometimes with his third person talk but Kenley's attitude is just deplorable.
I think Suede did a better job than her this week so I hoped she'd be going, but I guess she had a better track record.
I actually liked Jerell's outfit the most this week and I though he was going to win, but Korto did a good job as well.
Oh my gosh. I wish I had known about the clothing swap earlier! Hope everyone gets a few good pieces :) Can't wait to read that post
i felt sorry for suede too! i wanted to smack kenley across the face; not only is she not is she a one trick pony, she's a whiny brat!
i hope she gets her ass handed to her on a platter next week!

oh god ... i don't like kenley either! i hope the final 3 are korto, leanne and jerell. actually it might be funny to have kenley in final 3 since i want to see her mess up!
You're so right. Kenley was just plain rude ... it's a pity, because I really liked her in the beginning (although that was based on her personal style rather than anything she designed, I'm afraid!). It was the DVF challenge that seemed to give her such a swollen head, I think.
Anyway, Korto's win was well-deserved. And how hilarious was Suede on the runway? :)
