Battlestar Galactica-Fashionable Sci-Fi

Not a Battlestar Galactica fan yet? Maybe this post will convince you! Battlestar Galactica is a sci fi show about an interstellar warship that contains the last survivors (about 50, 000) of the human race on a mission to find Earth. Their original homes, the Twelve Colonies, were destroyed by the cylons (androids) that they themselves created. Cylons can take human form and there are many different variations of each model. Glenne Campbell is costume designer and in charge of creating the different outfits for each variation of Six. It might sound confusing..which is why you must see the show! This show is actually a remake of the 1978-80 version and is now in its fourth and final season.

Tricia Helfer, a Canadian model and actress, plays "Six" on the show. She has modeled for Ralph Lauren, Georgio Armani and Chanel. She hosted Canada's Next Top Model in 2006. She retired from modeling in 2002. Currently, all modeling she is involved in is in relation to projects. Here are some images of some of the great outfits she wears during the show.
