Designed and made in Vancouver, Shelley Klassen's clothing and accessories have long been a staple for all of us who attend events and shop at her studio at 579 Richards, Vancouver. It is so fitting that established as well as emerging Designers show their collections at Vancouver Fashion Week. We know that fashion is current and accessible, right here at home. Shelley has shown many times, and people often wear pieces they have had custom made by her. A stunning blue dress, I bought, has been to an important wedding, recently and also accessorized with yellow scarves, to Tetyana Golota's runway collection: Tribute to Ukraine.
I chose a few of my favourite photos from her Resort Wear Collection, dresses, wraps and bathing suits, that are a perfect reminder that, yes, Spring is coming. Shelley Klassen has a Design family and it was wonderful to see her and her daughter on the runway.
