Tetyana Golota, EcoStylist, is a proud Ukrainian Canadian who has shared her Designs and Culture (see post from 2016) with many audiences. I saw her first, in Seattle, when there were sunny skies and no war. in Ukraine.
This time, now, her message carries a prayer for PEACE, and a vision of what could be lost. On opening night, April 7, 2022 of Vancouver FashionWeek, many of us wore the blue and yellow colors and there were tears during the opening video that showed Ukraine under attack. From the video to the costumes and the dance, this was a powerful call for attention and support. The audience, awed, stood and cheered! Here is what I saw:
