Christian Dior Cruise Collection in Shanghai

Here are a few favorites from Dior's
Cruise Collection this year! The collection
was presented in Shanghai this week
to coincide with the grand opening
of the Shanghai Dior boutique.
The collection was inspired by
the French New Wave and included
a variety of more feminine looks in pink,
as well as some more masculine boyish
pants, suits and striped shirts with hats!

Okinawa Travel Outfit!

Here's what I wore on the way to
Okinawa and the first day we arrived!
Unfortunately this fantastic patchwork
number ran when I washed it (by hand!).
It's a good thing I didn't pay too much for
it! It was only about ten dollars. As it
turns out, it's a good thing I got rid of
it because I am having a rather difficult
time fitting all of my clothes into my
suitcases again! Time to go through
all of my clothes again...sigh!

Okinawa 2010

Another year, another Golden Week. Once again,
I decided to visit beautiful Okinawa. Many
of our friends chose to travel outside of Japan, but
I just can't seem to leave! I will be leaving for
good in July though!

Here are a few images from our amazing vacation
full of excitement and fun with great friends. We
visited a few new beaches and met some great people
too! To see my shots from last year's vacation click
here. Thanks to Sora House Nori again!

Thanks to Leah for taking this one.
Click here to see her blog of our adventure!

Beach walking.

The three of us at the castle gardens.

Traditional Okinawan dancing at the castle.

Jerk chicken kebab shop...yuuuuum!

The weather was mostly overcast but we had
a bit of sun here and there. Still gorgeous!

You need to take ferries to the islands. We got caught
in a bit of a storm on the way back! Look at the waves!

We definitely had a great mix of tourist
beaches and island beaches.

A great advertisement for Okinawan beer!

Walking from the beach.

A Weekend Treat!

Here are a few pictures from a fantastic
cafe I visited last weekend. It's just down
the street from all of my favorite shops!
They specialize in smoothies :) A gorgeous
sunny day on the patio with a smoothie
and a good book. It's these days that make
Japan so special!

Can you spy my new Celine pursie?

A Sunday Flea Market in Okayama!

I had my first Japanese flea market experience last
Sunday! There were tons of clothes and trinkets displayed
on tarps throughout Okayama dome. I ended up getting
a pair of shorts for a dollar, a Celine purse for
fifteen, a cute ring and some fresh pumpkin seeds! We
ended the morning adventure with a stop at the
nicest McDonald's I have ever seen in Japan for a
coffee and treat on the outdoor patio.

Of course there was festival food.
There were hot dogs, okonomiyaki, even
the local kebab shop owner had a stand.

Cameras, cameras, cameras!

Japanese bric-a-brac.

Yummy fresh dried fruit!

More cameras!
