Hawaii Part Two!

It sure makes me sad looking at all of these wonderful photos! Hawaii was so warm and sunny :) Okayama is sunny, but fr-fr-fr-freeeeezing! I had to invest in a new winter jacket (I'll blog it) and gloves and legwarmers!!

On our third day we took a trip with Robert's Tours Hawaii. We had great luck with this company. We went on an eight our day trip around the island of Oahu from Hanauma Bay to the North Shore to the Dole Plantation and more. We also discovered that we got the best price of everyone we met! Who would have thought?! We also visited an interesting Macadamia nut farm where we bought souvenirs (omiyage) for those back home. Of course there were free samples of all of the different flavored macadamia nuts and the famous Kona coffee! If you ever get a chance, you must taste it! Delicious! Around the back of the store you could get tours, jewelry and more. You could even get natural fruit lipstick..we managed to get out of that one!

The Dole Plantation was quite spectacular, although we didn't have time to visit the train that goes around the property. We did get to taste pineapple icecream though! Spectacular! I have never eaten so much pineapple as in Hawaii. In fact, they even give you pineapple with your McDonald's breakfast! Yes, I sinned, there was one next to our hotel.
