Matthew Williamson for H & M! Opening Today!
I took this picture the other day when I visited Tokyo. I took it for the fabulous Miranda of Stylebyfire who interned for Matthew Williamson in New York a few years ago! Today is the magical day of the opening in Tokyo. I wish I could be there to see the excitement and mayhem! Last year Miranda and I had a fabulous time attending the Comme Des Garcons opening at H & M in Vancouver! Apparently, Vancouver will not be receiving any of the Matthew Williamson Collection! I have also included a photo of the Forever 21 that is opening right next to H & M in Harajuku Tokyo! I can't believe it. It will be intersting to see how the two compete. It will be nice to have some access to some clothes that don't break the bank! Are you attending the H & M opening for Matthew Williamson?

Ahh! So exciting. You have to go to the opening, find an exclusive, and re-sell it! lol Good times...
Oh btw I interned there last year :)
And I think it's crazy Forever 21 is popping up all over the world. But fast fashion is a good investment in these economic times, right?
21's opening later this year in Metro. Not too excited about the increased mall traffic...!
OMG th3ere is no h&m here :( I will die for the electric blue one.
I like Matthew williamson's vibrant, colourful,embellished style so me thinks the collection for the high street will sell out.

There were good looks in the preview. Makes me wish I had one nearby.
ahhh H&M .. if only i could order off the internet! the nearest location is 3 hours away!
We won't get it? Oh well, that makes me happy actually because I know everyone and their mother would snap up those MW peices - they are too distinctive to blend in, so everyone would walk around looking like each other.
Which is why - even though I am a HUGE Forever 21 fan - I am NOT excited for F21 one to open here. Now what was available to only an enterprising few who shop online will be on EVERYONE in this city. No thanks! But I'm weird like that :)
Ooh, I can't wait! I think we do actually get it here, just not until the 14th. (At least according to H&M staff at the new store that opened in White Rock). Looks like there are some fab pieces-I wrote a little blurb on my blog too!
