Here are a few images from my weekend getaway to Osaka with Leah and Makensie! Leah and I traveled two and a half hours by Shinkansen (from Numazu) and Makensie traveled an hour from Okayama. There are a lot of great things to see and do in this city and we managed to check quite a few things off our to do list. We checked out the Dotonbori and shopping, Osaka Castle, the Hep Five Ferris Wheel and some great cafes and restaurants. We were really lucky to get two days of magnificent weather. We have had quite a lot of rain in the last few days and we were thrilled to finally shed some of our layers; although as you can see, I have a huge scarf on in most of our pictures!
A quick note of thanks to the Shin-Osaka Travel Information Center which provided us with great maps and information about sites to see in Osaka. Makensie organized our stay at the Hotel Osaka Castle and we had a beautiful river view! It was a perfect weekend. There are so many great sites to see and things to do in Japan. I hope I will have a chance to do as many as possible! Tokyo Fashion Week is coming up in a short two weeks. I received two more beautiful tickets today and I will take pictures and post them soon!

Love the castle shots, and the girl in the immaculate white coat and boots waiting for takoyaki looks like a princess! It seems like you're having so much fun.
