Bicyles!
Here are some bicycle photos. These were taken on our day trip around Okayama on Sunday. The fashion here is very similar to the Comme Des Garcons collection. There is a huge variety of styles but some of the big trends include: baggy clothes, knee socks, leg warmers, skirts, shorts with tights and boots and furry hats! Everyone seems to whiz by us on bicycles looking fabulous and graceful. I am pretty sure I will have a completely different style when I leave Japan.

I've heard that Japan is the only country where fads and pop culture are progressing forward and being created - every other country is recycling the past in some way.
Can't wait to see if this is true - keep us informed with lots of shots and musings!
