Here are a few of my top winter coats from the Fall 2008 Ready to Wear Collections. Unfortunately there is a lot of black, but these coats are all unique in their own way. I learned the hard way that it pays to invest in a really good winter coat. (I bought a cheaper coat and it pretty much fell apart, and looked terrible!) While pilling is inevitable with most coats, the more expensive coats are lined better and made with quality material. If it's in your budget, it's better to invest in two coats. A more playful everyday coat, and a coat for dressing up and going out in the evenings.

I am sooooo excited for fall coats! Loving all these belts. And that blue Celine is phenomenal!
I love the Carlos Miele coat. I've been trying to find one like it
Added you!
OMG! I want that Dsquared coat!! Eeek, I'm obsessed now!! Hehe. I love all the coats. That Celine one is stunning, I love the blue and I think I would love it in red too. I bought a Talula one last winter which was a bit over $300, the buttons are falling apart and some of the seams on the pockets are coming undone...I was so disappointed cause I thought it would be good since it was expensive. Ah, oh well it's still wearable since I sewed the buttons back on and my mom fixed the pockets but still, it sucks when that happens because I loved that coat so much. Not sure if you've seen it but it's about knee length with big gold buttons. Anyways, back to studying French and drooling over coats later.
