Adventures in Philadelphia

Last week I visited Philadelphia, the city of Brotherly Love. As always, there was lots to see and do! Whenever I visit a new city and I have some time to explore, I find that "hop on, hop off" tours are the best way to see all the sites, even if from afar. The concierge at your hotel can always easily arrange these kind of tours. Just ask!

On a bright and sunny Friday, it was great sitting on top of the bus and learning about this new (to me) city.
Some city highlights to check out if you ever visit Philadelphia:

  • The Liberty Bell Centre
  • City Hall
  • The Philadelphia Museum of Art (Including the Perlman Building)
  • The Rodin Museum
  • Franklin Square
  • Jim's Steaks (for delicious Philly Cheese Steak)
  • Reading Terminal Market
  • Independence National Park
  • Penn Museum (An entire museum dedicated to archaeology!)
  • Barnes Foundation (Renoirs, Picassos and more!)
  • The Ritz Carlton Philadelphia - was one of the best hotels I have stayed in!

I haven't been taking as many photos as of late. It was great to get out and take some real photos with my SLR rather than my iPhone. Hope you like the photos!
