On Wednesday, April 17th over 250 guests gathered for the Fall 2013 Hilary MacMillan show at 99 Sudbury. Celebrity guests included Luisa D'Oliveria, Kandyse McClure, Lisa Berry, Cory Lee, Kerry Lai Fatt, Bahar Niramwalla, Jen Kirsch and Arline Malakian. Sponsors included Enzo Angiolini and ELLE Hardware. Styling by Zeina Esmail of P1M and Hair and Makeup by P1M.
For her very first FW13 collection Hilary was inspired by colors and fabrics and royal equestrian dressing in the Middle Ages. The color palette of the collection consists of rich reds and golds seen in uniforms of the time. Fabrics include silks, cottons, stretch cottons, jersey, wool blends and leather. Following up on the Green Living post yesterday, Hilary's collection is entirely made and manufactured in Canada! You can find her pieces at Elle Hardware (co-owned with her sister), Violets and Dahlias and the The Store Upstairs in Alberta. Prices range from $100 - $450 CDN.
