Today is Colleen's (Treasure Seeker Colleen) birthday! Happy birthday to you!!! Thought I would write a little post about our Mother/Daughter blogging team. We're giving a short presentation at the Art Institute of Vancouver this week (I'll be attending via skype) and I was inspired to share a few of my favorite pictures, although there are many more to share including those from our trip to Japan Fashion Week in 2009!
After I left Vancouver to teach English in Japan for two years, Colleen started attending shows for me and writing them up for Clothes Line Finds! She still attends numerous shows throughout the year and has made her own fashion community in Vancouver. She also attends World MasterCard Fashion Week twice a year with me in Toronto and helps me write up the shows, take pictures and have an all around good time! No rest for the wicked when it's fashion week - there is too much to see and do. She has been a great inspiration and motivation for me to reach for the stars and dream big. Hip Hip HOORAY for Colleen - See you in Toronto next week!
