Work Camp Experience in Forcalquier, Provence

Here are a few of my favorite photos from Provence. During the week we volunteered for the work camp (chantier) five days a week, for about six hours a day. In the afternoons our guide took us to different mountains and sites of interest in Provence. It was an amazing experience and I don't think I have ever seen so many beautiful mountains. I was lucky enough to work with a wonderful team of people who I hope to keep in touch with.

Living in such a small town allowed us to experience living a more natural life. We cooked everything from scratch and even picked berries and fruits to cook with. We even saw traditional French theater and it sometimes felt as if we were living in another era. I found myself wanting to present all of the photos in black and white. I feel as if they more accurately show the way I saw the world. Black and white or color?

Galerie du Ptivelo in Banon, Provence, France

I am sorry for the lack of posts during the past few weeks! Life has definitely been crazy and filled with fun adventures that I can't wait to share. Here are some photos of a beautiful boutique that I visited in the tiny town of Banon in Provence, France. I took part in a small restoration project at Forcalquier (Redortiers) and the site was near this town. It was a wonderful way to experience Provence and meet new wonderful people and participate in something for the community.

I am now currently living in Toronto! After a week of visiting my friends and family in Vancouver, I am ready to get back into the fashion scene and start my adventure with the world of Media Production in the graduate program at Ryerson University!
