Japan Fashion Week Day One

Japan Fashion Week has officially begun! We arrived in Tokyo on Sunday and spent the day shopping and sightseeing. This first image is of the Audi building on the walk between Shibuya and Harajuku.

Monday was the first official day of shows. We started off by seeing Montonari Ono at Tokyo Midtown in Roppongi. Then it was off to Harajuku to see Junya Tashiro and finally Mint Designs in Ueno Park a theTOKYO NATIONAL MUSEUM The Gallery of Horyuji Treasures. In the evening we attended the celebration opening celebration show and party back at Tokyo Midtown! It was action packed and full of excitement. I will be posting individual write ups on each designer soon! For more information visit the Japan Fashion Week site.

Don't forget to comment on your favorite designers to enter the Harajuku Lovers Contest!
