Vancouver Fashion Week-Final Day of Shows

The theme for the final day of Vancouver Fashion Week was Street Wear. While things got going a little late, everything worked out in the end. The afternoon shows included: Ursus the Bear, Pacific Thorn, R & U Styles and Murder Tees. While street wear does not particularly interest me, there were some interesting pieces.

I did not take any photos during the evening shows, as it was a packed house. The evening shows featured a graffiti artist and live dj. The houses were: Ecko Red, Let and Sew (Ecko), Blac Label, Rock Smith, Artful Dodger, Cavi and Roca Wear. Button down cardigans, funky tees and embellished blazers were prominent. Every house threw out free t shirts and hats to the crowd as well. The guests seemed to love the live dj, as people were swaying and dancing to the music. It was definitely an exciting week and I really enjoyed being able to see all of the shows. Until next year! I'd love to hear what you thought of Vancouver Fashion Week. Did you have any favorites?

Looks like a blast!
And in terms of my other blog...yeah, it was started a long time ago and it's just a place for me to ramble about philosophy and other things that interest me. I haven't updated it in ages.

Fashion week was great. A little disorganized though. I was a huge fan of the Urban streetwear designs. I really like the concept behind Merder Tees. That was cool. Parasuco also put on a good show. My gf like Lav & Kush.

Great coverage of fashion week. We were so busy that we couldn't provide it the proper coverage it deserved. Kudos to you :)
