Project Runway Episode Five

This week Project Runway contestants had to create a look for Brooke Shields to wear on the second season of Lipstick Jungle. Brooke plays Wendy Healy who is a mother of two, a wife and a business woman. Designers are given half an hour to sketch their designs and then present them to Brooke. The top six designs get to create their look and pick a partner to work with. They are given a budget of $150 and one day to create their looks. It was interesting to see how the designers worked together. They still seem to have a difficult time listening to what the challenge calls for and to each other. I am looking forward to episode six because Chris March will be back and the designers will be making drag outfits!!

Suede and Terri-It's a bit bulky. Terri and Suede didn't work well together. Suede had a hard time working on his own, and Terri kept fixing everything he did. Yes, Suede is still talking in the third person.

Kenley and Keith-They are the winners. I disagree because they did not work well together as a team. I like the skirt but not the blouse. Kenley also openly laughed at Daniel while he was explaining himself and his design on the runway.

Joe and Korto-A nice idea but the top is a bit bulky and might be restricting for the office.

Jerell and Stella-I really liked this look. They really worked together to create this look. The waist band is "Leatha" of course! Even Heidi said this was her favorite look, but I guess they had to go with what the producers said?

Daniel and Kelli-This look did not go over well with the judges. They said it was sloppy and not office appropriate. Blayne took full responsibility and when asked who of the two should go, he said himself.

Kelli and Daniel-This outfit was the loser and it was Kelli's turn to go home. The top under neath this jacket was a poorly constructed leopard print top, making the judges question her taste.

Haha, Suede talking in the third person -- he needs to cut that shit out!

I love the Jerell & Stella one, makes me think of SATC, maybe just because the model looks like Carrie. I really think they had to win. Oh well.

I don't think I could wear *any* of these to work, except maybe Jerrel and Stella's with a jacket or something. I'd still feel horribly overdressed. :(
