Vancouver International Fashion Festival, Produced by David Chen, IPOP Canada

On October 20, 2018, at the Pacific Gateway Hotel, Richmond, we were treated to an evening of  Fashion, Dance and Roller Dance, Music, Titanic History and more. This is the third Fashion Festival and I wrote about the previous two fabulous events here and here. 

The Vancouver International Fashion Festival is co-sponsored by The International Presentation of Performance (iPOP!) and Nikko International, Inc. David Chen, produces this family event, and  it is one to watch for, twice a year.

There are many sponsors and many great prize raffles, adding to the surprise elements of this festival.

Stellar performances from Roller Dance Owl,  and The Vancouver Tap Dance Society. Harman Maddhar, singer/songwriter sang about his journey and the importance of self esteem and achievement.

Designers included: Darlene Karimi (Titanic Costume/Performance) Anna Wan, Xin Gu, Kameron Karimi, Brett McDermott, Kiana Delsousz and more, including a terrific team of models, Makeup Artists, and stylists.

The TITANIC Artifact Exhibition played a big part in adding a backdrop for historic costume and performance, designed by Darlene Karimi.
