Nordstrom, Vancouver hosted a get dressed up and get ready for Christmas shopping extravaganza, Thursday, Dec. 3, 2015. Friend in fashion and photography, Dianna and I learned more about the menswear department (impressive selection and sales staff: Edwin, Marc, Gavin and Chris) and even met designer, Maceoo, whose shirts take 12 days to make and contain 26 pieces, per shirt. Exquisite detailing and eye-popping colors, made us want to buy one of each. There were walls of socks, infinite choices for style statements for all occasions.
The store is beautifully decorated and, this evening, was further enhanced by the energy and charm of the Arts Umbrella Ballet dancers, with their Canadian version of Nutcracker.
Even as full of shoppers as Nordstrom was, there were still a lot of comfortable spots to enjoy the refreshments, especially those delicious treats from Culinary Capers.
Thank you, everyone, for great shopping, decorating and entertaining inspirations!
