Well here's the final footage from the Vaughan Mills New Media Challenge the other day! It was such a fun competition and now you get to take part too! All you have to do is like my page on facebook and leave a comment explaining your ULTIMATE style find this season! You could win $100 dollars to Vaughan Mills. Recap!
We started off the day at Union Station where we gathered to catch the big purple Vaughan Mills shuttle bus. After several interviews and of course fashion snaps, we headed off to Vaughan Mills. We were served brunch along the way and were briefed on our our task for the morning. We had $100 to spend in one hour and buy our ultimate fashion find!
As you saw, before the event, I scouted out the stores in the mall and decided to head for French Connection. They always have fantastic selection of dresses and I don't usually have the time or budget. What a treat it was! I initially found this pink dress with the help of Shirley who was working at French Connection. I fell in love with it, but wasn't one hundred percent sure. I scouted around a bit more and decided to purchase the dress and accessorize with H & M. I furiously grabbed one of the four camera men and he filmed my fashion find and off we went to H & M. I was lucky enough to find a great hat and shoes to match and create my Kentucky Derby inspired look. I was the first to explain my fashion finds in 60 seconds or less and even decided to wear my look, as you can see in the above video. Everyone started throwing on their garments, belts and hats and preparing to explain their looks. What a fashion blast! All in all it was a great event and it went off without a hitch.
