LOVAS

Written by Treasure Seeker Colleen

This collection, "Sisters" is for Fall/Winter 2011 and is inspired by travelling, emigration and immigration, from Croatia to Canada. The strong women in his family and around him shape his designs and fuel his desire to make them feel fantastic. LOVAS Wesley Badanjak began in 2008 and is featured in many publications and throughout Canada.

Paris in Toronto is where you are transported as you watch this elegant display. Beautifully feminine print blouses and solid pencil skirts, softly draped and belted dresses, and fabulous little black dresses, mostly at knee or just below were flattering statements about woman who are confident and know where they are going. More formal and longer dresses in white and black were simple yet sophisticated. Loved the richness of the velvets and the sparkle and shine of the silver accessories: necklaces, cuffs, and earrings.

The coats were just the best: double breasted black and that flattering length just below the knee. Lots of silver buttons and zippers, including the coat with the zipper up the back. Stunning, stunning...makes us feel fantastic! Visit Lovas here.
