Joe Mimran, Chair of FDC (Fashion Design Council of Canada) is a prolific designer and businessman, opening a new store in Vancouver and in Manhattan, this Fall. He even has a Mattel doll in his image! His show last year was packed and this year, it was a miracle that the huge crowd eventually got seated. Loved the orange - orange everywhere! A fitted jacket with a touch of orange collar brightened up gray and white pants. An orange pencil skirt as well as other shorts skirts were vibrant and solid orange and really popped. The two button camel pleated short coat was a great wardrobe staple. I liked the orange belt, too. These designs had a 60's flavor in both color and design. Lots of co-ordinating and mixing and matching would be possible. A gorgeous hooded puff jacket - a sandy, goldy standout is an immense improvement on any puff jacket I've seen. Definitely a buy!
