Fashion Group International "Social"

As some of you may know, I am filming a documentary for my M.A. final project. We attended the latest Fashion Group International event called FGI Social last week. The speaker was Alan Gee, partner and chairman of Blammo. He spoke about different advertising campaigns and ways we can get the word out about our products and companies using social media. There was even a live Twitter feed! It was inspiring to hear that there are many opportunities and that the future is bright. One of the things that I took away from the talk and that I have been realizing more with each day is the power of social media. We have to stay current and in tune with what's going on and that you can spread the word about a product using traditional advertising methods and social media. Bravo Alan and thanks to Fashion Group International for hosting such an amazing event! If you are interested in finding out more about the fashion scene in Toronto and all the latest trends, visit the Fashion Group International page and join today! They even offer discounts for students. Take a look!
