Thanks to Neesha Hothi for the invitation and warm welcome to the Bay Downtown's Fashion Blogger Event. We began the evening with Estee Lauder and Make Up Forever demonstrations and had a chance to sample and try on perfume. We also put our blog cards in for a great prize and guess what? Mine was selected and I received a silver box (3.4 oz.) of HALSTON Woman!
Maria from String Magazine and students from the Fashion Marketing Program at The Fashion Institute of Vancouver were part of the group and Crystal Carson of The Vancouver View Magazine guided us through a huge rack of fabulous designs. Very friendly, graceful models persuaded us that "Yes, you can wear these for style as well as for comfort and fun." The Bay's third floor is now beautifully light and white and the displays are truly eye-catching and organized by designer so that it is easy to find the looks you love, especially those from Sex In The City 2. Lots of mirrors and softer lighting make shopping a pleasant adventure. Featured brands, and there are twenty seven new ones this year include: Rachel Roy, Free Spirit, Beyond Vintage, Halston, Jemma H, Helmut Lang, Diesel, Rachel Walker, Parker, Of Two Minds, Pink Tartan, BCBG, Tucker, Ted Baker and many more.
The Bay's long time logo.The Bloggers' Event was very efficiently and effectively organized so that we were graciously invited in, given a chance to look around and meet people, see the latest styles, enjoy treats, go on a tour and then come back to try on something fabulous. We even got a gift bag before we left. The pink YSL cosmetics bag,(with cosmetics) a cd of the fashions and other surprises was
very generous and said, "Thanks for coming; we're glad you came." Well Neesha and The Bay, we're glad you're there for us. Thanks!
