Junya Tashiro's 2010-11 A/W Collection for Japan Fashion Week

Unfortunately I was unable to view Junya Tashiro's
Collection at Japan Fashion Week, but his lovely
representative Tina, was kind enough to send me
photos and some information about the show!
View last season's collection here.

This year Junya featured models who were slightly
smaller than the average model height. He wanted
to design clothes that would look great on everyone!
The runway was much narrower than previous collections
to allow the customers to view the collections more closely.

This year Junya shifted his color palette from the beige and
white of last season to a checked print design. Even the
models wore checks on their fingers nails!

His collections are always so stunning. It's also
nice to see someone really taking all their consumers
into consideration! Bravo!
