Project Runway Season Seven Episode Four

Sorry for the delay on posting about Project Runway Season 7 Episode 4. I was so disappointed and unimpressed with the looks that came out of this episode. I felt embarrassed that I had been shamelessly promoting Project Runway this season, trying to convince myself that there really was hope. Well I guess I am getting a little carried away. Still, when the designers were asked to create looks for real people, they just panicked and made a mess of things! The designers were asked to create a signature dress for the Campbell's adDress your Heart Campaign. What was the worst was that they had to incorporate the Campbell's Ads into their looks. Red can be very, very dangerous. This was a disaster. Nevertheless, Amy and Jonathan (see below) created beautiful looks and Amy won the challenge. She has been turning out great looks for the last few challenges. It's great to see her getting some recognition!

P.S. I just got twitter..you can follow me at...http://twitter.com/Antheamt I can't believe how much I was missing out on! Thanks to Elaine for showing me the way :)

Jonathan's Design
Loved the cut of this dress.

Amy's Design
The winner of this challenge.
This image doesn't do it justice.
The dress flowed down the runway
and the model glowed and looked
completely confident! It was
stunning.

What were they Thinking?!

These women are all so beautiful. The designers did nothing to flatter their figures. If you can't design for real women..can you be a designer? What do you think? If a designer struggles working with real models..can they truly succeed as a fashion designer?

Anna's Design
No, no, no the cut is all wrong!

Jesse's Design
Oh my..what is that jacket? When she
took off the jacket, the dress we saw
underneath was quite stunning!

Mila's Design The judges loved the stars..but I
thought
they looked terrible.

Maya's Design
YICK! That gold with the red looks
dreadful!

I agree with the first two pictures, especially the first one. The wine red was a great color and I liked the cut.

I believe that if a designer cannot design for real women, then he should have the privlage of being a designer. Obviously, the majority of the women in the world are not models.

Kisses,
Stephanie

Eeek, I agree. I have stopped watching Project Runway for awhile now and maybe for good reason. I do love the challenges and may have to give the show another chance.
