Before she began her career as a fashion journalist for Fashion Television, Jeanne Beker studied theatre. She went to the York University Theatre Program and then studied Mime with Étienne Decroux. She then became an entertainment and lifestyle reporter for 1050 Chum and later helped to create the NewMusic show. In 1985 she became the host of the famous Fashion Television.
Jeanne has participated in many different areas of the fashion industry. She has helped to create clothing lines for Eaton's and Sears and is currently the editor of FQ Magazine and Sir. She has published three books: Jeanne Unbottled: Adventures in High Style, The Big Night Out and Passion for Fashion: Careers in Style. Watch a clip of her interview with Steven and Chris. Jeanne Beker is one of my personal heros! It's funny, she has a cottage a couple blocks from where my family's summer home is...I've yet to see her though :)

I'm regretting not attending VFW with you! I was up to my ears in procrastinated work to do. When are you leaving for Japan? If we're getting together again we should definitely try Value Village this time, now that the Halloween rush is past.
