Project Runway Season Seven Episode Six

I have fallen behind on the Project Runway recaps! It's okay though because there was no episode last week due to the Olympic coverage. It will return this week. Next week also marks the glorious return of Gossip Girl. Regardless of how much better we liked the previous seasons, I know I am still dying to find out what happens next in the story. Are you??

Okay so for this episode designers were ask to create a fun look for a child. They were paired up with models and given measurements and a budget to create a garment. Of course they thought it would be the only part of the challenge...that was until Tim Gunn walked in and told them they would have to create a second look for an adult. The look was to compliment the first design. It was quite interesting to watch it all unfold. The looks were definitely better than the previous week but there were of course some, “What were they thinking?” looks. But then, it wouldn't be Project Runway without them. Seth Aaron one the challenge. He created a rocker chick look that was fun and that any little girl would want. Amy is one of my favorite designers on the show, but she created some crazy clown pants that put her in the bottom two! Watch out Amy! Poor Janeane finally got the boot. She just didn't have the time management skills or sense of aesthetic to keep up with the competition. Another one down, ten to go!

Amy's Design
"What was she thinking?"

Janeane's Design
I didn't think this look was terrible but the
color palette was a little off. Sorry Janeane
you didn't make the cut.

Jesse's Design
It was between this one and Seth Aaron's
for the win.

Maya's Design

Mila's Design

Seth Aaron's Design
How fun is this?
