Never been to Vancouver Fashion Week? The opening Gala, September 17th is a chance to glam up, get your photos with the giant VFW illuminated letters, or even on the runway. This is your opportunity to see current trends, meet local and international designers, visit the market place, watch the photographers in action and try to capture your own favs. I never imagined that I would find myself in Fashion, but in my travels, I always manage to find it. The colour, the design, the creativity, the people and most of all, the surprises. You never know what awaits, but it is all fabulous. So many stories on and off the runway! You hear them, you see them, you share them and you are part of them. Tokyo, Toronto, Palm Springs, Seattle, I have been to Fashion Weeks, there, but then, I find that there is no place like home: Vancouver. Here are my impressions from the 2017 Gala.
