ANIIMIISM BY Cassie Dee, Vancouver Designer Shines on the Runway

Cassie Dee designed a gorgeous silk, fringed wrap that I have been wearing to many events, this year! It has been to The Museum of Vancouver, The Japanese Consulate, and The Vancouver Art Gallery, and now to Cassie's runway show at Vancouver Fashion Week 2016. Every time I wear this multi colored silk dream, people come up to touch it and ask me who made it. It is unique and it shines in every picture! So thanks, Cassie, for your fabulous designs and for the invitation to see your new collection!

To start the night off, Norm Lee, photographer extraordinaire was hard at work, giving us brilliant glimpses of the ways Vancouverites dress for the runway. Yes, everyone has a chance to walk that walk, if they choose, and many, do!

So after all of that careful setting up of cameras, iphones, and selfie sticks, we were asked to clear the floor for ANIIMIISM!

Loved the long hair and soft make-up on the models. It provided such an elegant, classic face for each outfit. And those outfits...especially loved the dresses. Like my silk wrap, they hug and flatter and move easily. Expert tailoring means that flared pants fit and are never baggy or sloppy. Unique color combinations make this, truly a collection of wearable art!
