Montreal Museum of Costume and Textile Exhibition - Beatrice Marrelli Pearson Exhibit

This is a jewel of a space, one floor, a couple of rooms and always exhibiting something you wouldn't find anywhere else. It is special and the exhibits are beautifully curated and easily accessible. Ophelie Raffin, who is in charge of Communications for the museum, gave this information about Beatrice Marrelli Pearson, whose fabulous wardrobe was generously donated, over the years, to the museum.  Born in Montreal, in the late 1930's, Beatrice's mother and grandmother were seamstresses and so she developed a passion for fabric and style, early on. Hers is an eclectic showcase of hand-made, boutique and thrifted clothing and accessories. Her shoes, in particular, are to die for and in exactly the right size for Anthea.
