Montreal - Things to See and Do

Our whirlwind adventure in Montreal has come to a close and what a fantastic trip it was!

I had visited Montreal for short trips in the past, but never really had much time to explore the city. I found it to be vibrant, full of excitement and of course... cold! This was my first time spending more than a day or two in the city and also my first time taking Via Rail from Toronto. It was efficient, on time and had WiFi. For those who haven't seen the country this way, I would recommend it.

Highlights were the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts Colours of Jazz exhibition, the beautiful Hotel Le Crystal, the Impulse musical, illuminated seesaw exhibition at the Place Des Festivals, the Olympic Park lookout tower and the botanical gardens, the fantastic Upstairs Jazz bar and grill, Old Montreal and the costume and textile museum.
