Okinawa: Golden Week Vacation!

Here are a few clips from my fabulous vacation to Okinawa! It was an amazing adventure. We were there for six days but we only really had four full days. Our hotel and hostel were located in Naha, Okinawa. The hostel we stayed in was Sora House and the hotel was the Miyako. During our trip we visited Shuri Castle, Tokashiki and Zamami islands, pottery village, and the Shikinaen garden. We were even able to see a live performance of traditional Okinawan dancing and guitar. The fish market was incredible. You can buy fresh fish or shell fish and they will cut it up or cook it for you and serve it to you right there! Okinawa is definitely a must see if you ever visit Japan. Until the next adventure!

That beach is AMAZING!

To answer your questions on my blog, I got my bachelor of journalism from TRU, and I don't currently work in "journalism" per se, though I have in the past. I am in marketing at the moment because it is more lucrative however when inspiration strikes and laziness subsides I write freelance, usually travel articles. I also used to be a screenwriter, hoping to get into that again too...when I have time!
